Typical for Memorial Day weekend here. Weather never seems to be nice all weekend. Speaking of that, I need to stop and get my new Navy flag, since I have a flag pole now. I'd like to have that up with the Stars and Stripes on Monday.

Should be consistantly in the mid 80's here, but nooooo.....
Still waiting for the power company to come buy and install my new lanyards on our 60' flag pole so I can fly the American Flag and my MIA-POW flag. They tried with their small bucket truck, but it's just not tall enough.

Big flag pole! This was one was here when we bought the house. Just got the spot light wired with a photoelectiric switch, so I can leave the flag up all the time. When we moved in, the loser PO had the remains of a flag up. First thing I did when we pulled in the driveway was take it down. Took it in to get burned, and got a new flag. Don't understand how someone could display an American flag that was nothing but tatters. Idiots.
