It does look nice ... Did you leave it out in the sun before installation.
-Enjoy
fh : )_~
I left it out in the sun for 3 hours Thursday then it sat in the house unfolded. It was cloudy this morning so no, but it laid out super nice since it already had relaxed for 3 hours the other day.
Looks really good! As much as I like the vinyl flooring for cleaning, I love carpeting for crawling in the back of the bronco. It's much easier on the knees. Being young I shouldn't have to say that but I played hard as a kid and worked in plumbing for a little while with tore them up further.
You can hurt your body no matter your age, car or motorcycle accidents can do a really good job of that.
Regardless - yeah, it does look good, Matt, be sure and get some sort of floor mats to catch he majority of the abuse from people's shoes, I stopped by the WeatherTech factory store about a year ago and got a set of the custom-made stuff for my mom's Altima and some generic things you trim with scissors for the Taurii. They *might* still make custom-made stuff for these trucks but I really kinda doubt it, it would depend on what the demand is and what else they fit.
I have floor mats, I just took them out for the pics so you could see how well the carpet fit. No way I'm letting someone put their dirty feet directly on the carpet lol.
As far as hurting yourself at a young age. I did a lot of heavy labor type work when I was little, my knees are not very great, neither are my hips and I now work in a shipping warehouse and have major shoulder/back troubles. Not a day goes by without pain.

Yeah, I know whatchya mean... can I make a serious suggestion, Matthew?
Go see a physical therapist, I went to one for dang near a year after my motorcycle accident when I was you guys' age. They will evaluate you, all your range of motion & flexibility & such, and give you specific exercises that target certain areas. Let *them* tell you what you can/should do.

I'll have to keep that in mind. During the week I feel horrible, and surprisingly the only time it gets better is when I go to work. I AM due to go to the doctor anyways.
If you have any sort of health insurance, they should cover it.
Yeah, I also get my work benefits in November and get all major medical, so if it winds up costing I'll wait until then. One thing I have noticed is I simply slowed the f*** down at work and I have had a lot less trouble the last 2 weeks, maybe that was part of my problem? I did nearly twice the work of most everyone else for a long time.
Well, talk with your doctor about it, he may send you to some sort of orthopedic or somesuch specialist unless he knows enough to know what pictures (x-rays) to take. It really depends on how bad it is, but at some point they're going to want to see inside at what they're working with.
These & sports-related-types of injuries can really affect you the rest of your life, and you are young enough where NOW is the time to be looking at it and working to prevent that.

Ya know, about 10 years after that accident and in college, I hurt my shoulder lifting weights in the rec center. I knew to immediately go to the sports training folks over at the medical center who gave me some big-rubber-band-type of exercises to do for a little while.
I guess having gone through that accident thing, I learned to have a lot of respect for those people's knowledge and what they do, and what the human body is composed of and what it can tolerate.
Guess I should go pretty soon then haha. It all started when I put my arm around the back of my head, and my shoulder popped and it's given me trouble ever since. The right shoulder, well it just gets sore sometimes but not near as much as the left shoulder.
As far as doctors "letting the old dog die" I've seen that happen a few times before.
In highschool I twisted my back really bad after doing something stupid. It took over 2 weeks to get better. I don't have permanent damage, but it certainly wasn't fun being hurt. I did just have a trip to the ER, I thought I had a hernia. I stock overnights in a warehouse (Sam's club) so heavy lifting is my job. I've been on light duty for the last 7 days. Turns out after a CT scan, everything in my guts are ok. No hernia, no appendix rupture, nothing. In the morning I've got a follow up appointment with my doc.
