Now see, that makes sense. I could never quite put two and two together. I heard (and likely repeated) that "one size fits all" theory, but then I knew that one truck couldn't simply plug and play any calibration off a chip, so how could it do that with a flash tuner? Now I know it can't lol.
And it makes sense that a lot of the mapping would be the same, it is the same engine design (with slight exceptions such as rods). Isn't it generally user interface systems that are different? Like the dash gauges not working etc... if the wrong calibration is loaded?
