not sure. Oil in the valley but nothing new there. I'll check that also. Wish I had bought an AE scanner a couple weeks ago. U bought a new cps and will try that tonight.

the tach in my truck doesn't move while cranking. I'd replace the CPS first and go from there. I doubt the IDM is bad.

I haven't done it on a dirt bike but have on a few lawn mower engines. Nice flat surface and some 400 grit paper is what I used, Don't know it it was the right way but it seemed to work.

Get to it. Soak the studs with lots penetrating oil first and maybe apply a little heat.

Sure .. you provide the cash and they'll provide the studs. With the right amount of cash, I'm sure they'll even throw in the labor.
