Good afternoon everyone! Hanging out in a meeting trying to define a scope of work for an upcoming project.

How was everyone's weekend? Got a few things done around the house. I got about half o the lawn mowed at the old house before one of the idler pulleys seized again and stretched the belt enough to the point that it wouldn't engage anymore. Guess I need to order a new pulley and get it fixed.

Got the camper to the new house so we can get it opened up and ready for camping this weekend. We're camping locally with my parents. This will be our first outing for the year. No electricity, so we'll have to figure something out for fans.

Hey Michael! Had a great weekend here. It would be nice to have fans this weekend. Gonna be a warm one I think!

Michael, get that thing fixed so you don't need a new belt everytime.

I know we're slacking this year. I wish we had because there is a lot of stuff to get done for it. Inspection on the camper excursion both right now at the end of the month and I cannot get the excursion to start yesterday. Should be a fun few next days.

I thought I had it fixed. Guess not ... I just found the part# and ordered a new pulley.

I didn't book the campground. My parents did. We are camping at a State Park. Kind of surprising that there isn't at least electricity. Oh well .. we'll survive for a couple nights at least. The camper does have a DC/AC inverter and a place for a battery hookup. I could get a battery charged up and thrown in. I have no idea how long it would last though with A/C fans running.

Yup. I think this person needs their head examined. The ad says twice as much invested. $6K and that's what you came up with? What a POS.

Cool beans on the pulley.

Most fans will not work on the 12V DC unless it is specifically for that. Household fans won't work at all.

Most state parks have no electric hookups. Or a limited number of sites if they do.

The real question becomes....

How exactly did you decide to do this? And how didn't your brain reject the thought at that moment?

Have to disagree with you there Jay. I have stayed at a lot of state parks over the years and there are many with electric hookups. Depends more on the size of the state park. Booking early you can almost always get electric but waiting to the last minute there will be few left.

Our state parks have no site electric, water or sewer. Except for dump stations and bath houses. You need to be self sustaining
