Hooked to my truck it is 14.5 volts +/- low oil in the HPOP wouldn't cause the tack not to move would it?
That is the voltage while actually cranking? Then that is good. Some vehicles the tach moves while cranking and some don't. I am not sure if it varies by year or what. I honestly have never paid attention to what mine does. Low oil won't affect that but it will keep it from firing.

I am going to try smoothing out the head and jug surfaces myself and go from there. The one thing I worry about is will the head studs come out without breaking.
