Happy Monday SoCal. What about them Dodgers! I watched a little of the game yesterday, and they were losing so I switched channels, when I came back they were ahead. They even won the game. Not bad with so many on the DL.
It's a good team. I don't think they'll be able to sustain their pace very long without getting those guys back in the lineup though...you can't count on pinch hit 3 run homers to win games very often
Yea, that is what the ex-Yankee in charge said, or was quoted as saying yesterday. First Dodger game I have watched in a long time, seeing the field brought back memories, and seeing Vin Scully there was cool. being a die hard Giants fan I don't usually watch the Dodgers, (one good thing about living in Fresno is I get to see all of the Giants game, even when they are home. ) however, I was bored last night, so I did. I was impressed. Guess I will have to start watching them too.
Well I'm not feeling real well today...I'm fighting some discomfort from a medical procedure...but the vicodin seems to be helping...have another hour before I can take another.
Well the eclipse was kinda disappointing. I tried looking at it, but the glare was just too great. Tried the pinhole thing with different sizes, but still too bright with even a tiny hole. I thought about digging out my welding helmet, but it was just too much trouble.
I recall one fall semester in high school, someone had an 8-track tape of Sat Night Fever and played it every lunch hour for a months. I heard those songs easily 100 times and never grew weary (though complained boisterouly about the BJ's with all my buds). Until later Robin, see you on the flip side!
