I've got no complaints about Sunrise in Fontana for parts...don't know about the other location.

Sunrise it a great source for parts. Need to sign up over on SOCAPS(southern California powerstrokes) for the discount. There is a parts thread over there for Sunrise and they can setup the parts to be picked up in Hollyweird.

Ok thanks for your input, I just saw they have a West Hollywood location and its only 35ish miles from my house so "technically" it's closer but LA/Hollywood traffic and the higher tax, might make the 50ish mile drive to Fontana a little better.

Either way it beats paying the shipping cost on the springs which are about 50ish lbs each

I have their email and a name, but another member is getting a quote on my behalf, so he said they might give a quote # and I take it in or somethin

I definitely recommend Sunrise Fontana for parts. And for those who don't want to join a group, they have good discount coupons right on their web site.

Sunrise Fontana Ford Parts | Ford Parts San Fernando | Ford Parts Van Nuys | Burbank Ford Parts

20% for everyone, 25% for diesel stuff.

Jim Cockerham is the guy you want to talk to about discounts. He is a great resource for finding your part numbers too.

So these are the prices from Sunrise:
Front V-codes #2C3Z-5310-HA list $196.33 each sell $147.25 each
Rear B-codes #3C3Z-5560-CB list $276.440 sell $207.33 each
Sway Bar #F81Z-5A772-AA list $150.32 sell $112.74 each

And tousley's prices are these:
2C3Z-5310-HA $129.58 each
3C3Z-5560-CB $212.86 each
F81Z-5A772-AA $99.21 each
However shipping will probably be over $200 from Tousley based on the distance and weight of the springs

What do you guys think? Although it's only a few bucks more I'll definitely save base on shipping and Fontana tax is 7.75%.

Has anyone every ordered parts and had Sunrise install them? I'd maybe negotiate on having them match Tousley but pay for them installing the stuff or would I be better off just getting the parts and have them installed by the offroad shop when I buy my tires...probably leaning towards the latter because then they could also do the B-code mod which I don't think a dealer would do.

IMO, definitely buy from Sunrise. Shipping will be high on heavy parts. Especially if something goes wrong and you have to return ship.

This isn't something I would look to a dealer to install. Any good suspension shop should be cheaper.

Ok I'm leaning towards them more an more, and ya this would be a typical install at the offroad shop I'm hopefully getting my tires at.

Hello fellas.

I am happy to say I am back. I took a small hiatus to venture out into the wild unknown of internet forums. I stayed on another one for a while, but it became apparent that that crowed is not the type with whom I wish to be associated.

So I have come back to FTE because FTE was and always be my home

I missed having you around. Welcome back home.

Is there some rule about only one forum at a time? I musta missed that memo.

No it's just hard to keep up. And actually, one form thinks that is a rule and banned several people for inviting its members to a new forum.

Welcome home Trey. I would sing the "Welcome Back Kotter" theme if I knew it.

Just went and fixed the firing order on the '74.
Two or 3 of them were off, and it was 180 off. We are surprised the damn thing even ran.
Now however, it is backfiring through the carb and not firing.
I believe my timing may be off?
