We watched the first part of the Hatfields and McCoys...pretty darn good if you ask me!...we're DVR'ing the rest as we have conflicts the next 2 nights...seems to be a well made mini-series if you ask me...very entertaining and informative...not sure how "factual" it actually is though as I am not a history buff in any way...
Well the heat FINALLY broke here in Indiana and we FINALLY got a little rain this morning...we've had LESS THAN 1" of rain ALL MONTH!
A Wonderful Wednesday to One and All! Let's enjoy this So Cal weather... Steve did i see correctly that you will be working in Crowley? I lived in Mammoth and Crowley for about 10 years.... There are a lot of great wheelin' roads up there, you might even see my ex camped out on one of them.... Try the road to Valentine lake, it is the test of a good truck... pretty much a low range road the whole way... Well off to work! ciao ladies and gents...
Dropped off the X at our friends shop to do a complete 100k mile look over.
Oil change, and checking all other fluids, brakes, etc. Also will possibly be getting a new battery. It died on me the other day, but charged it up and seemed to hold a charge ok and started right up, so just pricing them if I need a new one, been a little over 3 years.
Although as much as I would like to do the V/B's right now, I have decided to not blow all my money at once and do just the needed maintenance. Still will be needing tires, and will go agin with 285's. Really wanna look into the Toyo M/T's.
Getting everything checked for our drive to Nebraska (helping someone move and towing a u-haul)
Actually my dad kinda wants to sell it. It runs well but, it doesn't look that great on the outside. We invested in a new top, front seats, new clutch, spark plug cables, and a few other little things.
I'd personally wanna tear it apart and put the motor in a prerunner for the desert
Each year you guys have a booth at the show (Western Nationals) to promote your FTE group. It's a great way to spread the word and share your stuff. You don't have to do any judging this year since we are doing peoples choice so you can have a spot if you like just let me know so I can mark one off for you. You can park one truck in the spot to show it off.
