Haven't watched the whole episode yet, and frankly never watched very many of the original series either, so can't compare them.
At first I thought the front driveshaft was hanging down but appears to be exhaust. Not sure why oil drain pan is under it. Apparently something more serious. What a beast!
Looks like a PTO shaft or something along those lines. Don't see a winch, but there's some sort of fixture below the bumper so maybe it's a holder for an auger, plow or hidden winch?
Probably have to drop the shaft to change the oil!
