I have probably mentioned it in the past but my dream car since 1966 was a 1966 Cyclone GT. After all those years of searching finally found it a few months back.
A total unrestored car that just turned 57k documented miles and original from Paint/Body to interior, chrome, trim and all driveline. Only thing done to driveline is new intake and valve cover gaskets, belts, hoses, battery, water pump. Even all the steering and suspension components original to car.
Not a 61-66 slick but thought some would enjoy seeing it. Weather has been extremely HOT but have still driven it over 400 miles so far. Nearly double the miles vs new truck.
Drives fantastic with engine spec as it left the factory and stock dual exhaust. Transmission has never been out. 3.25 gear could be taller or could use a overdrive for long distance but a nice cruiser as is.
License plate has been on it since day of purchase July 27th 1966. I have all registrations since day 1.
Even the wood grain steering wheel is near flawless
Installed the 1966 AZ plate from the F100R
Original paint has flaws but extremely nice for 57 years old

STX
was tired of tan n gray interiors so this had to be Black.
75th Anniversary. Special Order truck exactly what i wanted. Plan is to lower it 3” in front 5.5” in rear so it will fit under my 4 post hoist in side garage. Too long to fit in house garage.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
in 1967 because of camshaft change the GT 390 was 320hp
I have magazine road test article where a 1966 Cyclone GT ran 13.98 @ 103.8 1/4 mile in cold weather so very limited traction.
i plan on testing this one with dragy once weather cools and i can get fuel used back in 1966.
one of best running/power of the many 390’s i have had. Feels stronger than many “hopped up” 390’s.
if he is asking 3000 plus add 3000+ for shipping it’s too much for me. Do you have link?
if it’s solid rust free & all there 3k isn’t bad but always shipping that kills.
