That would be Brown Shoe.........
I didn't work with PC's in the Navy.... They were just coming to be by the time I retired in 1992.
IP Phones are a big deal now!! We have a bunch of IP Phone systems. We have facilities in WY, MT, ID, UT. We are using Polycom phones.
But wait a minute...didn't you say AE? Aviation Electrician....that qualifies as a green shoe buddy.
Yep good ole IP Phones is what we design and manufacture...Mitel is the name of the company. We sell the polycom phones as well as our own depending on application.
Watch out fishies, I am going to be out gunning for them this weekend, and maybe even squeeze in a round of golf.
Fishing I understand...
Golf....... Getting yourself pissed....chasing little with ***** that go where they want to....All of this so you have an excuse to sit and have a drink at a high priced bar....
Stock the boat.... Scotch, Burbon, ICE, Club soada, coke,......Beer...
Then hit the water and catch fish as you try to drink like a fish....

Really.... Aviation was refered to as the Brown Shoe Navy...... The rest were refered to as the Black Shoe Navy........
Trailer loaded. Just finished changing the oil in the truck. Air filter was checked. Drained the water separator. Yay...
I live an hour and a half from Deadwood. Wife and I were over there two weeks ago playing in the Hills. We go over there quite a bit to play. Wish I was home, (sorta), I would meet up with ya. Any idea where you're going riding/staying? We like to ride around Galena. It's an old mining town 6 miles south of Deadwood on Hwy 385. Plenty of camping sites. Full service or boondock.
We left home yesterday for Cheyenne Frontier Days. It's a good time down here. We were planning to go to Buena Vista, CO for three days to go four-wheelin while we're this close, but, that plan fell thru.

My service dates where Sept 1977 to October 1981 (had to extend an extra month to get "A" school) and if you had "Aviation" in your rate then you where a green shoe. Remember E1-E3 stripes where green? Or did they change that...?
Yesterday my wife and I traded our turbo eating '06 6.0 in on a 2012 1T, XLT long bed crew cab. Has lots of options. We spent most of today driving around feeling good.
I was going back through old posts on here and found this one. Sorry I didn't see it before now but Welcome to our Feel Good Thread about our trucks and many Kudos and Congrats on your new truck Whiptail!
Hang around and don't mind us.
We just all love these trucks and are big pals on here. Welcome to the club!

Stripes were Green.... The chiefs and officers in the aviation community wore Brown shoes. There was a Green dress uniform for the Aviation Community (E-7 and above).

Hey Darren....missed your humor lately buddy. Tried to fill in for ya....
Sorry about the tough week but, now it's time to
And you are welcome here anytime and we will stock that boat to the gunwales and see if we can knock a few on the head and drag them in
And if that doesn't work I always have the "Redneck Fishfinder"...it's called a stick of dynamite
Also known as "RedNeck Birthcontrol"......
Yea....it's easy....
Have the guy hold the small stick of dynamite. Light it. Then offer the guy 2 TWO Beers.......
Sure enough....Yep....He puts the dynamite between his legs to hold it and grabs the 2 beers.........................

Roy....now that there is funny I don't care who you are...
Well,,y'all been having a good time, have fun out west. Anyone around Daytona come find me. I'll be at the port orange KOA or the Sunglow pier on the beach. If I'm not in either of those places I'm eating or sleeping.
And golf? You could replace the word fishing in any golf sentence and have the same effect. So sailor, chase around fish, make yourself mad, yada yada. It's a frustrating game if you don't approach it the right way. Helps if you have some ability. It's a lot more fun when you wear out the ***** rather than lose them. After about 4 rounds they're no good anymore....I don't play much anymore but did enjoy a single digit handicap for a while.
