Went to Yellowstone Saturday morning and returned Sunday.
Met-up with Joe (X-Hemi) and Eric (ExxWhy).
Arrived Saturday early Afternoon. Found Eric and family at a the Norris Campground. Met his wife and teenage daughter. Very nice folks. They even feed me dinner . Later that evening Joe and his wife and 2 daughters arrived. We had one hell of a great time..... Joking, laughing, telling Sea stories, swaping lies..... It was well worth the trip.
Put about 700 miles on the Truck. Got great fuel milage.
A good time at a great place, it don't get no better than that!
Glad you liked that one. At least you guys understand. I told my wife about the "Traction Nanny" and I just got a blank stare and a half-hearted laugh. Guess you've got to be a car / truck kind of person.

Yeah Gerry it is AWD. All of the new SHOs since the 2010 introduction have been AWD. It probably has a way to turn it off but I haven't ventured far enough into the mile thick owner's manual to find it yet.

Hahahaha!! You know Gavin, it reminds me of last winter when I had to put my truck into 4WD when we got some pretty decent snow. I started spinning the rear wheels and it wouldn't switch into 4WD because the traction nanny kept reducing power to try to get traction.
Since that day, it has been dubbed the Traction Nanny.
@Roy - I aims to please!
@John & Joel,
I wanted to post this a few pages ago....
After college I moved from IL to Tampa. That was the best decision I ever made. When I first got down there I used to do a lot of bird watching on Clearwater Beach. I lived there twelve and a half years, then the wife and I decided to move back to IL because most of our relatives are here (IL) and Florida is just too damn hot & humid. I missed the change of seasons.
I wanna be where Roy is! Only 300 miles from Yellowstone....

Man, I would love to have only one season.....warm all of the time.
Honestly though, I understand what you're saying Gavin. My wife used to be that way, but with time she has kind of gotten to the point where she wants to be somewhere warm as well. I'm seeing us snowbirding when we retire. Gonna keep the house here and likely stay in FL, TX, or AZ during the winter.
We've got the same situation Gerry. We won't be doing anything like that as long as my in-laws are still around unless we can take them with us. My mom spends most of her time at my sister's place near D.C. now but I'm super close with my in-laws (more like parents to me) so I'm not leaving them here.
