We all had summer jobs back in the day, nothing wrong with that....I remember shoveling driveways for .20 to .35 cents, collecting pop bottles at .02 cents a piece...
Should have seen me when I 1st brought my Kubota ZD326 Zero turn home. I'm from old school. I went in house and told wifey a drunkard cuda cut a straighter line. But now I could never go back to tractor style Mowers.
I grew up cutting grass with those old cast iron reel push mower. Best cutting mower ever made.
You guys are hard to keep up with!
Great stuff guys, ruschejj Kper awesome pictures!
Looks like everyone is holding their own LOL!!
We had happy hour this weekend out at the lake (was our first time).
Lots of work but lots of fun. Was raining a bit but we still had about 50 people. $500.00 worth of snacks and a big mess later it was all over LOL.
Went to Yellowstone Saturday morning and returned Sunday.
Met-up with Joe (X-Hemi) and Eric (ExxWhy).
Arrived Saturday early Afternoon. Found Eric and family at a the Norris Campground. Met his wife and teenage daughter. Very nice folks. They even feed me dinner . Later that evening Joe and his wife and 2 daughters arrived. We had one hell of a great time..... Joking, laughing, telling Sea stories, swaping lies..... It was well worth the trip.
Put about 700 miles on the Truck. Got great fuel milage.
I know Roy, I was a kid & I just let the people pay me after the job was done, big mistake, did I mention I had to split the .20 to .35 with a friend....times were tough back then huh...
Roy, glad to hear you had a nice visit with the guys there.......did yer bride go, any pics??
No, Gina did not go..... She thinks I should have stayed home and accused me of going to meet a girl.....
I asked her to go with me...... Nope
Photos of the 3 of us were taken by Joe's and Eric's wifes. They will publish soon I expect.
I spent the weekend cleaning out the garage that we've used for storage for the past nine years since it's been that long since we owned a vehicle that was short enough to fit inside. Now the little wifey is happy because her Taurus is in the garage.
On another note, I had to put the Taurus in the shop today. Turns out that when it was built, they didn't feel the need to put one of the bolts in the hood latch. So it was barely staying closed. They're fixing it now and it'll be done shortly. Must have been put together on a Friday or a Monday.
OOPS, whats a hood needed for anyway, just take it right off & put a blower on it, hahahaha
Yeah really!
A blower? When I stand on the gas in this thing now, the "traction nanny" starts flashing all kinds of lights and this thing struggles not to spin. A blower would likely send me into orbit.
