I was finally able to get the headlights snowseeker sent to me on. Worlds better!

They're great at night. Even with the blue tinted Sylvania SilverStars, the output is pretty damn good. I probably need to do a little alignment but I haven't been flashed by oncoming traffic so that's a good sign.

Bumping an old thread here.

But what bulb is in the excursion? About to go on DDM and grab a set of 6,000k HIDS.

Anyone tried any other solid brands recently?

oh and the 55W works with factory wiring correct? It didn't in my old malibu but I figured it would in this.

IIRC, for my 04, they were 9007s in my HLs, and 9145s in the fogs. A good kit (retro solutions) will come with a relay harness. The factory lighting wiring is barely adequate for even stock lamps.

I'd suggest Retro Solutions HID's.

custom HID conversions, HID kits, LED, CCFL specialists - retrosolutions

Yes, I believe the earlier bulbs are the 9007 and then the 05 switch was to the 9008/H13's.
