This is off topic, but I was looking at my 99 F-Series brochure and the F-150 chassis illustration (photo) is 'flopped", i.e. it;s printed upside down. The fuel tank is on the right, and the exhaust is on the left. I wonder how this ever got out of the printer that way.
Otherwise, it's a great sales brochure. I have not been able to get a 2012 F-150 brochure despite many trips to my dealer (F. R. Ford).

Evening gang,
Hope everyone had a good day.
I spent the day working on the bed for my 56 crew cab project. Bascially I spent the day welding closed and redrilling the holes I filled previously.
When I had the bed on the long bed chassis I had relocated the fenders about 4" back. Now that I have the bed sitting back on a short bed chassis I had to weld closed the new holes, and redrill the old holes.
But at least its done now, and My partner in crime spent the day mudding the last door. We still have a ways to go on this side(passenger side) of the cab, but hey were making progress.

I dont know about your weather, but here the weather people are saying a chance of showers anytime today. Kinda puts anyone with outside projects in a tough spot.
I just finished cleaning out the accumulation of crap from the cab of my truck, and now im gonna do a little sand blasting in my blast cabinet. It would have helped if i had primed these little parts last time i blasted them, but you know how it goes.
As far as yesterdays progress goes, yes we had a productive day for a change. The summer has been a killer for us. We got SO MUCH more done over the winter months than we did all summer so far.

This is abour CAB ROOF LIGHTS.
I found a set of original cab lights at Tiverton Auto Parts. It came c/w factory harness. I took them home to clean them up and found out they were Truck-Lite Model 25 lamps. A search led me to their web site and I found the original Ford P/N F81B-15442-A. Another search led me to several sites selling them new for between $5.00 & $10.00. A complete set of 5 could be had for under $30.00 incl. shipping. You would still need to order the correct harness from your friendly Ford dealer. I hope this info helps semeone.

I bought the ones for my 78 this way. $8 and change each lense at my work.
