I took the seats out of a black/dark blue F150 that was sitting in front of the truck row.
I drove my Red SuperDuty.
Parked front row, to the left of the offices.
I think we cursed you out for taking our usual spot actually
Yes, EVERYONE knows Arthur. The question is... since when?
Did you know him before he owed the salvage yard?
When you buy stuff at the yard, who prices you out?
I don't personally know Arthur, but many people I know do.
Don't particularly care for North Smithfield Auto Salvage, even though I live right on Pound Hill. Don't like how they yank the engines out of most of the yard cars, don't care for the yard entrance fee, selection isn't that great, couple that with terrible phone service, and the generally quite rude chain-smoker who sits in the front office most of the time - I'd rather just go to Henry's.

If I were the average consumer, I would have to agree with you 100% on all statements above.
I personally know Arthur, and the most the Chain-smoker gets from me is an "HI" as I walk past him and go into the yard.
Henrys used to be GREAT.
But since the new owners took over they scrapped all the vintage iron, and only keep 87 or newer trucks, at best. Henrys has turned into a pick a part trash heap.
Even when Henrys had a yard fee I never paid it because I was there probally 4 days a week getting stuff. Now I go to Henrys just for a quick look see once in a blue moon.
I got lucky today and got those seats, but I still need one more pair for my 56 crew cab project truck.
Normally I spend 2 bucks to get exercise at Henrys and leave empty handed.
Yeah I remember a few years ago they used to have the neat old vintage trucks. Used to be the "Memory Lane" section on their website.
I remember the first time going their looking for parts for my '87 Ranger, and it took me less then a minute to find one. Now there's very few 80s and earlier vehicles.
Henry's works great for my people like my friend with the Comanche, and other newer-but-still-old vehicles. Despite the "oversight" of the new management, I still think it is one of the better yards around. Not too many of them still let you go into the yards.
