Their is a certain divide here between state troopers and local police after this incident where a trooper pulled a Miami police over on the highway for speeding. Nobody is safe from the Florida Troopers..

Excursion in the Everglades
Got up this morning and decided to take the truck to the wash. After that we took a little ride through the everglades. I live off SR84 (alligator Alley) so it's a daily commute through the swamps. I took a few pictures on my phone for you guys.. Sorry about the quality..

Good looking Ex. A 2008 black rear bumper would look good on that ex. They fit nice and would get rid of the chrome. I picked up one on craigslist for $50. I too have painted my front bumper black and I added the black 05 grille off the basic xl superduty. Also put on black steel wheels. My ex has much of the same black out theme your Ex has.

What model years of the F250 parts will interchange with the Excursion? '00-'07?
If I can pick up a cheap OEM black grill and rear bumper from a salvage yard that would be the ideal for me. I waffle back and forth between wanting to go with the full on Warn front bumper/brush guard look and wanting people to look at it and think it's all factory.

I also fought with the decision to go black as I knew their would be no going back. Now Im locked in and Im contently looking at what else needs to go black to complete the look. Income tax will bring many sweet things but for now im just trickling inexpensive mods.
I been scoping out the blue plastic strip that runs along side the doors for a few days now and im still undecided, but I know eventually it's getting coated.
As far as the wife is concerned with the blacked out mods she can care less. She likes the roughed out look. No offence on anybody with a shinny chrome hardware. Just a preference. That's the cool thing about moding, you try to make yours unique from the others.
