Ok. finally getting some headlights. Got a sweet deal at Ebay auction for $56.
Also got 6 strobe panels with 3x9 sub panels. 3 amber and 3 white.
I also got the 10 led lights to replace the running boards, doors and license plate lights.
Should have everything the first week of Jan. Cant wait.
I got those... get ready to cut out some stuff or maybe i had to do it cauz i have an 2000 anyways i think they could be better i dont like the fact that half is led and the other is reg light colors. in the spot were the led lights are and put one of your own i have a sucky led light i will get better ones soon....... most of all i like them there new and i really need to change mine at the time!
I noticed that you had your aennta on the rear part of your roof, how did you run it from the outside to the inside?
If you want it even cleaner, check out antennas with NMO mounts...the wire runs though the outer skin and up under the headliner. I'm converting my VHF/UHF mag mount to NMO mount soon to eliminate any external wires.
If you go NMO mount, check into an antenna with "fold-over" capability...you pull the antenna element up and it has a hinge to fold over...great when you need to get into a parking garage or if you want to run through an automated car wash.
If you sell the rig or get rid of the antenna, they make watertight black plugs to fill the hole, so it doesn't ruin the roof.
I was gonna drill a small hole on the roof then run it in the headliner but decided not to in case I wanna relocate it it later. I was struggling with putting it on the rear or on the center of the roof but decided the rear because it would be easier for me to run the wire through the back door instead. I might get another one and put it on the middle and drill the hole anyway.

Thanks for the heads up, they should be here tomorrow. Can't wait. Mine are yellowed out and wont polish clear. I wanna change the rear tail light lamps also.

IMO, if you are gonna drill a hole, go with the NMO mount. You wont have to mess with a custom grommet or seal to keep water out, and you can easily "remove" it with the caps tha fill the hole (get the cap at the same time you get the NMO mount so you won't have to hit for a shop that carries them later).
Exact center of the roof (fore/aft, left/right) will give you the best ground plane, and THAT will get you the best distance for transmission and reception.
You mentioned you cut down the current antenna...would be a good idea to get an SWR meter and tune the CB, or you could shorten the transmitter life. Shorter antenna = less resistance, and that could have a negative impact on the transmitter and shorter transmit/receive range since you have altered the wavelength you are transmitting on.
Finally my 2in1 HALO PROJECTOR LED Head Lights are here.
Jaydon on a box intelligence probe.
Hmm... I wanna black out the inside upper chrome areas. How do I soften the lamp seal? I pry them open. They look fragile.
I wanna soften the seal somehow then remove the clips arounfd the lamp. Then high gloss paint the inside..
What do you guys think? Im gonna install them like this first then if doable without
cracking the lamp or burning them, I'll give it more consideration. Your inputs will be highly considered.

Before pic.........Can I sell these?
If you wanted them black, they make them blacked out already...let me find the auction...
Yes, that's the look. If I could just somehow remove the lamp seal I can get in there and mask what i want to stay chrome and hit the rest with gloss black. Any Ideas?
