Welcome home, Marc, broken but undefeated. Looks like you were hunting way high up.
I hunted Elk on a mountain that our outfitter called Broke Pelvis Mountain. You won't find that on a map, but yep, the outfit owner was thrown and broke his pelvis. I cannot even imagine how that must hurt.
When you see what these horses can do and the terrain you ride through and the mountains you climb, it's amazing that folks don't get hurt more. This is the top of a mountain just above our camp (you can see it in the middle of the pic). I sent a bigger file so you can pick it out.
Talk about extreme sports!
As we were on the return trip in the truck, both of us were still very happy with the trip. Scott loved his chopper ride.
All good.
One of my friends mentioned that she wants to go to a drag race when she gets back to California. So I asked her if she'd be interested in a diesel truck drag and she immediately asked "So, could you race?!"
I told her probably yadda yadda.
Anyway, my question to you that race is, do you have any advice? Good places to go? I'd prefer not to race in races I'd have NO chance in haha.

I never was so sick as the few years I did facility maintenance at a chain of child day-care centers. Strep at least every four months, colds every two, etc.
I figure that it bolstered by immune system. However, it was miserable at the time.....
