Body Mount Saga
Excursion has 6 locations total of 12 mounts.
The printout for the sd only shows 4 locations (that does not look right to me).
Total of 8 mounts.
Location of first 3 rows are the same part numbers. I can post the printout later tonight or in the morning.

"Ive been a ford tech working in a dealership for ten years now and thought i might throw some knowledge out there on theese noises. Typically the pop under your feet during body flex was the cab mount bolt(under your feet) contacting the body on the nonthreaded portion of the bolt just under the washer. What we would do to fix is remove the bolt take it to a grinder and grind away on that nonthreaded portion of the bolt about till the washer ould come off. then with a die grinder and tapered stone bit hog the hole in the body out a bit sot there is now space between the bolt and the body. Then finally we put anti-sieze on the bolt nonthreaded portion just in case then slap it back in. I probably did this to atleast 200 pickups and excursions as it was a common problem on the first few years of these vehicles. As for a squeek noise the front leaf springs have plastic bushings on both ends between the leafs that wear out and then are very noisy on umps. Ford has a revised kit that replaced the existing bushings and adds a second thicker stacked bushing on top to extend the life of the bushings. Hope this helps someone!"

I just replaced mine last year and happy to report NO MORE noises.
Will send you reps when I get out of rep jail.
its not the weather, its that nasty road grime. man its gross, i hate to tap into anything in fear it will get in there once i break the seal!
if i had a big dry fancy heated garage i still might not do it tell it had a day or 2 to thaw out. the weather is really nice right now tho, bit of snow and 28 degrees. looks like it might be clear tomarrow. i got spring fever now, and really wanna start doing stuff.. probably a good thing too since i got more summer projects then i will be able to get to i bet.
