Thanks Bears !!
Do I go with the exact part numbers above or the superseded ones ? Sorry kinda a noob when Ford ordering parts
I've thought about that too -- but where/how would you grease them ? Also the manual states not to apply any grease to any of the mounts ... wonder if that's just a ploy to get people to buy full replacements
I originally had them taken apart 3 times to have them lubed.
That gave me about 2 weeks of silence.
I also grinded down the center stubb, that gave me a whole month.
Did this for 3 years, until I replaced everything.
In my opinion the grease just helps things move ( shift ).

I'm sure if it was don't with non corrosive type grease (not oil) and the mounts were pried open a little to grease, it would last very long. There is no way I would replace mine.

When it says "superseded" I'm guessing the part number just changed somewhere along the line. When you enter the part numbers I listed, the superseded numbers (which end up being only a couple numbers or letters different) are the same part. You'll see when you enter the part number into the site.
This makes no sense. These mounts can easliy be replaced with urethane, yet no one seems to list a kit...ie energy suspension. If the rubber material is failing than why put rubber back in? Greasing it will futher deterioate the material. I have onwed mine for a month and I am baffled that there is not a better fix. Any one put on a body lift? I wont use one but would that not eliminate the rubber to body contact that is causing the squeking? I am determined to replace mine with something other that factory rubber. Is the frame not the same as a F250? than why not replace the entire set with urethane?

There used to be a part number for the Energy Suspension urethane kit, but it was never produced and listed as discontinued, then even the part number disappeared.

I was hoping there was a urethane, aftermarket kit, too. I couldn't find any. You'd think there were enough Excursions with this problem that would merit a company like Energy Suspension to make a kit for all twelve mounts! A body lift might replace them, but there doesn't seem to be anything specifically for the Excursion. Maybe you could try something with an Energy Suspension kit for the F250.
Bear your are correct. There has to be enoough X's out there with this issue. I worked in the 4X4 industry for many years. This was the very reason urethane was such a big deal. I have sent out some emails to various companies and I await their reply. Hell I even remeber skate board wheels being used as body lifts. I will share any info I dig up. This truck is the wifes and it hasnt taken long to drive me crazy.
On another note I pulled our dump trailer with it today for the first time. I have to say the V10 does quite well. She aint no 6.4 twin turbo like mine, but then again unleaded is 90 cents cheaper too.........
Finally getting around to installing mounts. Unfortunately, I was sent the wrong mounts.
Wyatt, at Horizon Ford, is going the extra mile for me. He found these OBSOLETE parts (thanks alot Ford!) in Ft. Worth, TX.
Do yourself a service and find a couple "YC3Z1000154AA" and buy them ASAP. Doesn't sound like there are that many left.
What a hassle. Aftermarket, if you are listening... make these mounts!!
