Called Willie, and he sent me to Margate Maroone. They had the part, but I have to fax credit card info to get the parts shipped.
I figured out that there was one extra "0" in that part number. Horizon Ford DID have those shims.

Thanks for all the help guys. Finally had enough coin to install the parts I bought for the front body mounts. Labor was much less than I had feared. I recommended Horizon to my garage (I will be bringing the steak to the steakhouse from now on, just in case). No more creaking! Now it's on to mount location #4 for near silence in the Ex.
I don't understand what is so hard about prying them apart a little and lubing them. Everybody wants to throw money at everything to make it disappear but I don't see much good old innovation and common sense.

Good for you!!! Bet it feels like your driving a new truck, well at least a newer truck.

ya you should be able to make your own teflon shims outa cutting boards. or alter the sleves so they can be compressed more due to the old rubber or maybe engineer a new mount.

That too, anything beats paying Ford to remove the body and put new ones in. Where's all the common sense and innovation guys ? (not you b-uno)
That's actually good news that I didn't get all the parts. I'll call Horizon back, order the top and hopefully get it all situated. Thanks again for the help LL.
I couldn't be for sure, nor would I want to spend your money.
I will tell you I tried all the home remedies first, I wasted 3 years with this ford mistake, the only thing that has lasted for me was replacing all of the parts on the mounts.
I know your getting frustrated, in my case I was almost to the point of driving my ex into a tree. I had posted earlier that it was like driving a 40k suv when no noises were present and a $400 piece is sxxx when the body mounts start acting up.
My creaking had stopped for about a year ( right after the lift ) but the noise has returned. I'm not sure if it's the same creak everyone else is describing though. It's almost a rattle under the passenger side when accelerating from a stop with the wheels turned. Sometimes when just taking off in traffic in a straight line. The sound is almost a rattle along with a creak...
I'm going to retighten all the bolts in the sway bar and arms ( top and bottom ) etc... and see if it helps.
I may be doing the mounts in the spring if all else fails. Hopefully I can just use a jack and loosen the existing 2 mounts enough to squeeze the old ones out and squeeze the new ones in... I really don't feel like removing the entire interior carpeting etc... to do any others
Does anyone have the complete and updated list of part #'s for all 4 parts ( upper/lower/bolt/shim) for position #2 ( both sides ) ?
