My name is Alji with the Ford's Customer Service Department. I had the opportunity to address your e-mail regarding the cool down timer for your Ford vehicle with 6.7L Diesel engine.
Please accept our apology for the delay in our response.
In an effort to assist you, I have escalated your inquiry to our Technical Subject Matter Expert. Please be advised that there is no cool down timer available from Ford for this vehicle. To use the remote start, you would need to exit the vehicle, lock the doors and start the vehicle using the remote start system. The vehicle would then run at idle for 15 minutes and then shut off.
I hope this information helps you. If you have any other inquiries, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Alji

LOL.... might want to forward him this thread. Also does he know the RS system has an adjustable time and it is not set at 15mins.
Hopefully the TMSE (Technical Subject Matter Expert) will have a better answer.

I just tried it on my 5/2011 build.
The first time, no go.
The second time, BINGO!
it's all in the timing. As you're letting go of the last button press, turn the key off. You have to do it in a snap.

Thanks for the clarification. Do the 100 series and the 200 series have the same range?
