BTW, back on topic, I tried the after RS and my Job 1 does not work either. I have the current TSB.

I figured all seats were the same...
Heck seats are different, RS programming is different..... what else is "special" about this truck.
Gotta be more than two of us out there that can get the RS thing to work.

I'm guessing

the only idle mod I have is the SEIC that I did myself based on the info in the Tech Folder.
Although, I did ride along in Rickatic's truck back in January and those are pretty nice seats! As to the thread topic - remote start:
1. My remote start only works about half of the time. I think it is just a range issue, but I don't know. What is this "range booster" you guys are speaking of? Is it a Ford addition or is this third-party? I had an after-market remote start installed in my 2010 F-250 with the 6.4 and it worked a LOT better than my factory one does in my '11.
2. The feature allowing the engine to run when you remove the key is a pretty slick idea. I can't run out right now and try this. I have a King Ranch with nav and MyKey, the only functional option I don't have is a moon roof. It is also a Job 2. When I get out tomorrow I will check this feature out and see if I can get the original button sequence to work after the gear shifting.
3. Has anyone tried leaving out the lock button in the sequence? IE - just skipping right to the two hits of the circle button? I agree with the one guy that posted about there being different button sequences for programming whatever feature you want to get to run. My dad's Lexus will drop all the windows even with a button sequence.
4. High-Idle - I meant to do this on my 6.4 too. I will have to hook this up. There was talk about the high idle shutting off when the truck goes back in to remote start mode with all the screens blank. If the upfitter switches are run through the accessory on somehow, activated with a relay or run directly off the accessory power, then it WILL shut off with the accessory power off. That having been said, if the power is separate from the accessory on (IE - you can turn your accessories on and off with no key in the truck) then the circuitry for the high idle must have something to do with having the key in the ON position and theres no way around it.
I pulled out my upfitters and installed my own switch panel with some jacks on it for my ham radio installation. The power for everything is straight off the secondary battery. Depending on how the wire is hooked up for the high idle (+12v or switching to ground) I may be able to use one of the switches on my panel. They have constant power from the battery, no disconnect with the key out.
