I like that, Bob. Thanks. That truck is just what one of you western guys need. Unlimited potential there.

Ross,
Is that the guy out on the east end of town with all the old stuff? Its hard to tell, and I can't see much in the background of the pics.

Yeah, he has a quasi-showroom on the north side of the road. It is truly a "junkyard".

Yep, that's the place I thought it was. He used to be in Albuquerque and was notoriously hard to deal with. I haven't talked to too many people who've had positive things to say.

I haven't tried knocking on his door so I can't so for sure though

The couple times I dropped in there the old man called it a museum. Wasn't selling anything. Somebody else might be calling the shots today.

As a woodie would be okay I guess, but to my taste it should stay a regular bus and gain some AWD attitude. We've seen Power Wagon buses, but never a M-H bus. Stu

F2R1SR14459. The book says SR is the Somerville plant. Never seen it before. Where is that?

Edit - Somerville, MA. Darnedest things you can learn on Google. Stu

LOL, yes, he used the word "museum" when I called about something he had on CL here, as I recall it was a shoebox Ford. He sells on consignment a lot.

My 97 Exploder is about to give up on me - I've been searching for something that I can haul stuff around in that's not exposed to the weather
Ross, Bobby - Interested in a road trip to PA?

I ran into this today searching google images. It's about as odd as I've seen for a while.

Those cars look like '54s to me. I have a '54 Mercury quite similar.

1953 Fords on the hauler. About the same as the 54, last year for the flathead. Very interesting tractor. Almost looks like they started with a Ford truck cab, doors?

There couldn't have been much leg room in that beast.

Obviously that truck is a cab over but where and how does it get air to the radiator? It has no grille for air flow.

I think the engine is behind the cab, under the chassis. Seen one here
someplace with two flat motors side by side for (I think hauling missiles)
a while back also.
