I ordered a 1967 County Sedan in Midnight blue. Of course, the CS had no woodgrain. It was one nice vehicle; made the wife a great DD and towed the boat with a little effort. I do not remember ever having any trouble with it. I did install an aftermarket transmission cooler.
Just the look of the rat patina and so much talented work. I'm more into just drive or restore than build monsters. More towards the practical side. Reminds me of some burn jobs I had to work on. Whatever each to his own.
Oh my goodness. Just when you think you've seen it all, a picture like this sad caricature of a once proud and beautiful panel truck comes up. I can't imagine a worse looking vehicle. It's hard to believe someone would spend good money to create such a monstrosity. But as 5851a has noted, "To each his own".
It looks to me like a fake patina as well. I wonder what it looks like inside.
Actually there is no question that it is a fake patina. The metal additions on the rear match exactly. At least paint it or give a patina that has paint and doesn't look just like rust.
