The ad said it was made from a '59 Impala four door. I can see that being done. Don't know what they did with the front clip. Almost looks like they grafted some '64 Chevy parts.
I like it. Looks like something that could have been a concept car.
To me, it looks like something that would come out of Australia. They have all kinds of little car-based trucks that we weren't allowed to have in the US until lately.
back in the 90's there was a guy here in new jersey that had a 69 corvette 427 4 speed wagon.
the car was hit in the rear and totaled. he bought it from the insurance company and used a front total malibu wagon to make make one car with the good pieces.
it actually came out pretty good.
I like the wagon, back seat was completely useless in them anyway..I used to see several Corvette conversions too when I lived in Toronto..
The wagon is very well executed, proportional, and period correct. They incorporated the C pillar wrap around rear window cleaning ventilation from the full size wagons from 65-68. It didn't really work as intended, but it looked cool.

I kind of liked it, too.
My folks bought a 67 Country Sedan in '72 similar to this without the wood grain sides. It was a very nice driving car with the 390. My dad rebuilt the engine in '76 at 140,000 miles with the help of some of his friends. I was always into cars since I was real young but this was my first indepth look into the workings of such things at 13. I got to be the cleaning grunt. What a great time that was.
