When you compare the original Ala Kart to the "$200K" version you can really see how many of the design cues were missed...the curved flow of the body is gone. Sad to see what appears to be some quality workmanship wasted...

Agreed. The nose tipped downward was the first thing I noticed. Then again, I'm familiar with the Ala Kart, and may be a bit biased.
Putting the proper grille on it would help and something like flipping the rear fenders side to side and lengthening the box to accommodate them. 49 fenders would suit it better..
