Ok, another update on the truck, I put the stock antenna back on and sadly I think some one had the ***** to take it off and walk off with it....not sure what to think of it but either way its gone so I put the little black one I have on untill I find a suitable replacement piece, most in the local you pic it are damaged is some way either bent or what ever or taken, not about to go to ford to order an OEM replacement (gonna be at least $50 for it) so i am just looking for one thats close to the same height of the stock one...gonna keep canvasing the pick a part places, on a side note what other cars would have similar antennas to our trucks?

Jaime did you buy any stereo equipment yet? If not do you have a budget for stereo?
The guy John mentioned would be a great option if possible, but you are in Louisville. Off hand I don't know any installers down there. I have had stereos in a number of vehicles and put them in even more. I have spent more on one stereo and install then you probably paid for your truck and all its goodies.
You do know that you don't have to stay with 6x8 size. You can switch to 6 1/2 separates there are more options out there. Another option is a plate. this is a separate set mounted to a plate that matches the 6x8 mounts.
For the music you listed as types you listen to, you could run a four channel amp. first two channels power the speakers in the door, with the other two channels bridged to power the sub. You would not use the rear fill speakers as you won't really need them. That leaves a lil money to put towards a better front speaker or amp.
John mentioned sound deadening. Great stuff! In my old Tahoe I had 5 sheets in each front door and 3 sheets in the rear doors. The more you can put in the better the stereo will sound. It won't have to compete with road noise.
With the color of your truck, a metallic tint will actually look good. I had a Mark VIII very similar tu your trucks color. I had a gold/beige metallic tint installed and it looked good. Always got a lot of comments favoring it.
let me know if you have any questions.

Cool Ryan, glad to see your around still...I think I have sound deadening already in the truck as road noise is quite low as is. as for my budget yea I have one planned but im still gonna try to keep it low cost as I can, no I haven't bought any parts yet...but I plan to start once my first paycheck comes in and I figure out how much I can use towards personal toys and things after bills...as for the metalic tint, what type would you suggest Ryan? colors?

Great looking truck! I love that color, very nice looking when its all clean. I just got my windows tinted, 35% front and 20% rear and I have the same main color as yours. I think it looks great with dark windows. Here is a pic of my truck, sorry about how dirty it is.

Nothing wrong with the dark tint... the MarkViii was my only car that didn't have blacked out windows. Jaime the metalic tint was a beige/bronze tone with a slight fade as the window shaped down
If you send me a figure I could draw up a system that you might like. Gives me something to do until school starts back up in a week or two.

Nice work jaime. You know I think I could come up with a spare tire mount like the one I built on Frankie. It would bolt to your existing bumper and swing down to the ground like mine. With the stock size tires on your 2x4 it shouldn't whiegh to much. Let me know if you are interested and i will work up a price on it. Who knows it may catch on lol.
