The Power Take Point inside de cabin is live at all times, no matter the position of the key in the switch.

Ok added two new items to sandy, one that I thought would be an important item, a solar power battery tender, and a POW/MIA decal to show my support to those who are lost but not forgotten...

Ok got two new 3157 bulbs for the back up lights, only one works so I think I flipped it wound the wrong way, so I will reinstall it properly when I get home, however I know the back up lights should be 3156 so just curious, will having 3157 bulbs in a 3156 socket harm any thing?

Aside from not working right, no. A 3157 is a dual filament for stop/tail/turn signal. A 3156 is a single filament, for things like reverse lights.

Well I tested one last night and yes there is a heck of a difference between them and stock, so once I get both working correctly I think I'll have nice amount of light, they are 7W bulbs I believe.

some more updates, went to the salvage yard and pulled the AC compressor out of a 1995 F150 XLT Xtended cab truck for my truck, its missing the clutch assembly (or at least most of it) so I went to another salvage yard and found a compressor from a E series van (newer model, same type of compressor) and tore the clutch off and put it in CLR over night and what a difference, wish I had taken a before picture but sadly I forgot to, but the clutch had rust just about every where on it, and after spending the night in CLR I cant seem to find a hint of rust!!

Jaime, what back up bulbs are you going with? My 02 should use the same as your truck, so if you have a part number, I'll likely order the same as you. Tell us what you think about them. Thanks!

For reverse lights, get 3156 CREE LED bulbs. They are much brighter than stock bulbs will ever be.

John, 3156 CREE led bulbs are what your truck should take, I got the ones with the side LEDs also to fill In the houseing for a better lighting, I really like them and they are brighter then the old bulbs I had originally, forgot to take a picture of old with new but all I can way is holy crap they put the bulbs to shame...

Ok got another update, was at a new pick and pull today in my area and was searching around for a truck with the accumulator line hooked to it with the 1 1/4 nut to try and see if I could get it off to see if I could replace my line which I think may be bent a slight bit, not entirely sure, and happened to find a utility truck just like our trucks, a F250 HD, not sure of year but inside its utility body I happened to find this gem of a find, and pulled it.

originally I thought it was a 5 galon air tank which will be more then plunty for what I want to do with it, run some basic truck air horns off it, and the occasional air tools or tire filler...well after cleanning it up some and getting all the grime and dirt (and caked on dust) I read the label and found that it actually is a 15gal tank...which explains why its so heavy!!!

also the utility body it came out of was so rusted I was able to use a hammer and break the metal floor and part of the bed area, so Im quite happy this tank was in the condition I found it in, looking these things up I woulda paid at least $100+ new and I scored this one for only $20 so Im happy, with all fittings attached.

anyways, now I just need to find a set of nice air horns and a compressor to go with this tank, been looking and unable to find a decient compressor, most I find come with a tank already, so if anyone would have any ideas or know of some sites to look at for good (american) quality compressors that are continous duty compressors please let me know, JCwittney came up with verry little

look on the viair website, they do all sorts of compressors for vehicles.
And they are proven a million times over by the car tuning scene that use them on air bag suspensions.
