Which Ford Engine am I?

Ok guys, let's mix it up a bit with a new thread idea...

Not my vehicle, but really a well kept machine.

That turbo throws me off of the 4.9l, sure looks like a diesel. What the heck, I'll guess FORD LEHMAN 120 diesel engine
– 120hp -6 cylinder- 380 cu. in -

Would be cool if it could be installed like this:

240 & 300 (4.9L) I-6: The intake/exhaust manifolds are on the right (passenger) side.

The truck w/the 352 is a 1965, and has the correct black plate number (S41171) that was issued in 1965. My 1965 F100 black plates: S28392. I installed these plates in March 1965, so I know the number is correct.

Trey, I'm guessing it's an old fire service truck from Los Padres Nat'l forest. I saw it at a car show in Camarillo.

BTW, welcome to the So Cal Chapter! I'm a newbie to the group too, and looking forward to meeting the chapter folks in LB next weekend.

Good question 80broncoman, I just found the pic on the net and enjoyed it. I think they wanted a front wheel drive economy vehicle.

Interesting. Even though theirs are green. I think it would be cool to own an old fire engine.

Welcome yourself! Looking forward to Long Beach myself.
