We’ve got a minor league businessman running a major league team,
I'm really surprised that Los Angeles still supports this team by attending home games.
The place was a "litter-box" last time I went, years ago, and I swore I'd never return.
I haven't.
The guys on KFI are sure taking McCourt to task on this, and I'd be real surprised if there isn't an attorney chasing the family of the victim as I write this.
Sadly this is not the first of these kinds of episodes... There was the M80 affair, there was the Young man a few years ago at Anaheim Stadium that was thrown off the ramp by a couple of Dodger fans! Anaheim only has problems when Los Doyers come to play! It is sad that a select few can ruin it for everyone else... such as the Raider fans have been known to do. I remember as a kid going to Dodger games when the stadium was new, and the LA police had mounted officers patrolling the parking area. I thought it was so cool to see that... Now the only games I'll go to are at Anaheim Stadium. Villaraigosa, keeps proving himself to be a fool. but sadly LA keeps electing yoyo's like him. SO glad I live in the OC we have only had the like of Corona, and Citron. I guess they are just as bad in their own way.
You know what, my mistake the man who died at Anaheim stadium was 's killed by an Oakland A's Fan! my Bad!! Oakland A's, Raiders same thing. It was a Angels fan that was severely beaten but not killed at Anaheim stadium by a Doyer's fan! Anaheim has since stepped up security by a bunch.
And they wonder why some of us don't give a damn about an NFL team coming to LA.
Pop is right, this is nothing new. Even 30 years ago I was a Dodger fan, but preferred going to Anaheim to see a game. The difference was the employees. Anaheim employees offered friendly service and made us feel welcome. It is still that way today. The culture starts at the top.
When the Raiders left town, Raider fan became Dodger fan.
Yes Steve.... Silver and black, blue and gray, all bruise colors, as far as that group of fans go! When ever you see them interviewed (The fans) they refer to the team as WE... I have never seen a one of them suit up for a game yet.....
Don't we think it kind of strange that McCourt, up until today, has been absolutely silent on this whole affair? Of course, that has to be at the advice of his attorneys, but he could at LEAST have made comment how tragic it is, etc, etc, etc.!
Full agreement with you all.
I've shot a thousand+ ball games and have seen it all.
Quite a few years ago I was having lunch in the same restaurant as Peter O'Malley and on the way out I walked by his table and asked him ( in jest ) to please buy the Dodgers back.
Class guy.
Gail & myself, Marv & Marge, Nick (WeekendWarrior32) and Riffraff Clay are going to meet there @ 9. If anybody else feels like getting their grub on come on out!

Villaraigosa asked the assailants of the Giants fan to turn themselves in. If that goes well, maybe he can hold a press conference asking tax cheats to pay up and delinquents to immediately return to school.
Hello everybody!! How has everybody been? I havn't read any post's except for the S.A.T., and even then just what's on page 8 up until my post.
So, it's been quite awhile since I last posted here. Sometime in November is when I last visited according to my profile. Well there has been plenty going on since then. I honestly had a rough season of it when I lost the pickup. I love that blue Ford, rusty as she was. I was so close to getting it running, but alas, my time was up, and the manager made me get rid of it.
Shortly there after, I lost my job. My fiancee left me. My mom had a heart attack. One of my sisters were arrested.
Now, everything is going good again. I've got a killer job working at the Riverside Superior Court. And I'm in the market for a Pickup.
So, in short, I'm back, and am looking forward to talking with all you cartoon's again!
