I was referring to the stations that gouge you because the next station is a hundred miles away and they don't have to pump as much either, if they do pump it. (I don't care who pumps it).

Paid $2.999 for 87 octane yesterday. At least 3 area stations are selling regular at this price now.
And I thought that I'd gotten a great bargain when I filled the Excursion, boat, and truck last weekend at $3.179.

I filled up my diesel tank yesterday for $3.55. Was kind of strange filling up my tank for less than $150, I usually pay ~$30 more.

It will be interesting to see what our local stations do with the holiday week approaching...they tend to GOUGE us right around the holidays...just because they CAN!
I am on a business trip this week...I filled up yesterday for $3.35 for 87...today it is $3.26...I'm betting on Thursday when I get home it will be $3.70 just because next week is the holiday and folks will be heading to the lake this weekend...
The only reason I filled up yesterday was because I believe they will gouge us because of the holiday...we'll see...
We'll be leaving on July 13th for an ~4500 mile towing trip through WI, MN, ND, MT, WY, SD and home...looks like the prices up there are slightly higher than they are in Indiana...but if we can keep the prices on this trip to the low $3's...that would be good...I postponed our trip last year (this same trip) since fuel prices jumped to near $4...hopefully I guessed right...we'll see...

check GasBuddy.com - Find Low Gas Prices in the USA and Canada looks like overnight they dropped it to $3.99 but what i paid yesterday was the going rate on southside for gas.
