Yeah! I am super excited for her. Its good to see the light in her eyes again. It was starting to dull a little. The daycare was starting to suck the life from her.

For my side project this weekend I re did ceiling tiles and installed new led lights in the basement.New covers over the lights to spruce up the 70s florescent look. Took a bit of wiring- and with some careful shopping we did the project really cheap. Now there is more light in the basement-- and saving money for the 2 minutes a day we have those lights on ha ha ha.

I went to Best Buy to research all that has changed in projectors since I last showed an interest in them. Then I looked over the 8K Tvs and the 4K Tvs. I honestly couldn't tell a difference.
The sales person said, you can see a difference if you are within 3 feet of the TV, but otherwise most people can't.

Why... Would I watch an 85 inch TV from three feet away?

well if you watch it outdoors, in winter, the heat off of it will help keep you warm if really close

I slept in a motel last Sunday/Monday, and the motel room had a huge TV, that even when it was off lit up the room. That was annoying.

Yeah, the one in my room was by far the biggest TV I have ever seen installed in a hotel room. It's was the definition of "obnoxiously huge"

More than likely over my head lol

I have a 50 and 51 f1’s with few extra cabs not great shape, but found out thru necessity that I can minor fab and bodywork but this project is ambitious. I’m taking the 51 stretching frame widening fenders as needed making it a crew cab but stretching the doors 4” and can 8” on top of the crew cab stretch. I’m 6.5 so legroom is a premium but have front suspension from a 2wd dodge dually can narrow fairly easy since no rack and pinion and planning on using a srw f250 rear with duals besides the obvious headaches that’ll prob turn into migraines am I on the right track or is the track go over a cliff any opinions or advice is appreciated still collecting parts. Drivetrain I have a spare complete 02 lightning engine and trans but kinda leaning towards grting a diesel and unfortunately a 6bt would be the easiest to get running although if could get a stand-alone harness wouldn’t mind an OBS 7.3 power stroke but mechanical diesel would be a lot easier to get working. Let me know what y’all think it’ll be a couple years before roadworthy with prior obligations

I can't offer much in the way of advice, but I sure hope you keep a thread going on the progress that you make with pictures and such. I am anxious to see the project advances.

Well not much of a side project (yet) but I have been thinking about one--- I have been wanting a pop up pickup box camper forever-- Yeah facebook Market place! A lady's husband baughtt a camper for a project-- he got half way through the project and died-- its been sitting in her driveway for a few months-- its a pop top pickup box camper. She wanted $500 for it-- (Wife is in the Hell no category-- but I can get around that. :-)) I sent a guy I know who was 20 miles from camper to look at it--(he actually worked on RVs for 20 years) --On the recommendation of my buddy I low balled her because it is going to need allot of work. its 5 hour drive to get there. I thought little old lady who is now a widow --- but my guy shows up and she is upper 20'ss lower 30's with small kids. Hubby must have passed really recently because she was Prego- I felt so bad for her-- Now I feel guilty for making a ridiculously low offer--Can't decide if I really want to go face her and basically steal this thing from her-- or not. It is really bothering me-- have slept at all for 2 nights.

Maybe if you decide to go purchase it, and even if you agree on a low offer, go ahead and pay her full asking price to make her day.

Curtis makes good points. Has she accepted your offer? If so then after you see it you can decide if it is worth more and help her out.
