That's good to hear, also maybe the locker situation is an easy fix. I have a hard time believing that the locker itself quit. I should be easy to figure out though.
Did some reorganizing Sunday. Sold a four wheeler and made room in the shed for tires. Then sold the Mustang today. Nice lady bought it. Said it'll be a tribute to her late father who loved old first generation Mustangs. This should speed up the progress on the f100.
While Maddie was using the Mercury for a commuter, she took it to the car wash and the car wash removed her antenna. I asked her to go back to get it, but she didn't seem inclined. Then a little time passed and she bought her own car. Everything worked on her new to her car, until we got back from vacation. The radio wouldn't work. She approached me and told me about it. I told her I wasn't inclined to want to fix it until she went to get the antenna from the car wash (full knowing the antenna was in the trash already) I sent her back, several weeks later to go ask for it and they said it was not there anymore.
I found an antenna in a camper that the bank repossessed, so I modified it to work in the Merc, and then pulled her radio apart yesterday (about 35 screws grumble, grumble) and found that there was a spot on the board that had corroded. I priced a new radio at the tune of about 300 (once it was programmed to work with the car by the dealership) I then sprayed the board down with Electronic cleaner and used a tooth brush to clean it up. Just taking a chance, I put it back together, and reinstalled it. IT WORKED!! Woo Hoo!!
well I may have made the most perfect apple pie moonshine ever--- Just sayin-- I distilled some apples brown sugar and cinnamon in instapot and added a touch of some stuff in a special jar from Arkansas (I didn't make my own clear corn alcohol this time) :-) -- then simmered the mixture a bit. No bite- and it goes down smooth with no aftertaste. I am sooo stoked that I got it perfect-- might never happen again.
I thought it was really good last time, I could imagine how great it is now! I'm with Curt, hopefully I can take a swig of the good batch sometime in the future
I have the perfect place picked out!!! Ok, maybe a few of them.
Last night I replaced the headlight for Julie's Acadia. Never.. ever volunteer to replace the headlight on any Acadia.. Its a PITA... The inner fender well has to come out, and everything inside has teeth that like to rip off skin.
