side projects. Whatcha been working on?

I been putting in Crazy hours, and wasn't even on call, starting monday I am on call till the following Tuesday. Today was my only day off this week. (Julie put me to work today, I built a crib, brought the changing table in from the garage, and built a stroller (Jeep Liberty model).

Kenny hooked me up with a soft top and soft doors for the Rubi. I been looking up the instructions on how to mount the soft top, I don't think it is a fit for my particular model, so I offered it for trade on KC Jeep Club for the correct one. A local guy came and got it tonight and is going to try to see if it will work for his. If it does work for his, he will just buy it and I will put that toward buying the correct one when i can afford it.

On the other side of that, the soft doors are an exact match, for model and fit. I will be enjoying the heck out of them come spring.

What have you been up to?

Margaret came home this afternoon and saw Clint's trailer loaded out front with Chads old nado Ford truck and stuff on it. I tried ta tell her it was my new project truck and asked her how she liked her new lawn mower. Garrett spilt the beans first so shes really really happy now fer some reason.

Working on my old three wheeler. Got the motor pulled out today, and switched out some parts from my spare motor. I plan on sending the motor off to be rebuilt once I get the Bullitt back from having the new differential installed. Already have all the parts, just need to get ahold of the guy to do the work. It'll be nice to have the old Honda running again. It's been broken down for about three years now. Besides that, just buying more go-fast parts for the Bullitt. Hope to get it race ready for the true street shootout April 30th.

Tuning up the Escape lately, almost completely done with all the work we were wanting to accomplish. Next is the tranny pan gasket for the truck. After that I can finally start fixing up the Jeep so I can be 100% ready for the Disney run

We usually have house projects too but this year I don't think that we have much planned out to fix up on the ol' homestead. I need to get pegboard up for the walls in the garage and get my 220V breakerbox wired in sometime this year, probably later than sooner.

I work on whatever she tells me to.. Ok, actually we`re working on our garden come spring. I`ve never had much of a green thumb, but it actually sounds fun and it`s a skill I fell I need to learn. At least it`ll be interesting..

Loaded up the "65 as Jack stated above. Then spent a semi family day- went to a scavenger hunt for the 4x4 club- then the guys played pool while the ladies did a baby shower. it was fun.

Removed the drivers door hinge pins thisw mornin. The uppers are different from the lowers it seems. The lowers have a smaller hole for the bushings and new bushings I have won't work. I have Clint on it though.
