Start with the back-- otherwise you are to tired and burnt out to finish-- I know a guy who only painted the front and sides of his house because it is all anyone would see.
Cleaned up the back of the side by side. Got the storage box reinstalled. Receiver hitch came in the mail for it, gonna put that on next. Got just a couple small things to finish up before next weekend.
12 hrs of garage work yesterday-- 5 today-- going to take a quick lunch break-- then back out to the garage until supper-- that's when it will be cleaned out enogh to start my project.
Good job Chad. You've also motivated me to work on projects. Clint and I spent a couple hours putting the 4 wheeler back together this morning/afternoon. Have done everything except the front master cylinder, which should be here Tuesday. Hopefully that's all it needs and it'll be ready to go back home.
Got the receiver mounted on the side by side yesterday. Pretty quick and easy but gives me peace of mind.
You guys are great-- :-) I started making a roll around stand to put my camper on when it is not on the truck :-) Don't know how stout to make it- sooo as stout as possible I guess.
I dug a trench from my house to my shed, and ran conduit to an electrical outlet. I haven't yet pulled cable in, but since we have purchased a swimming pool, I want to have an outlet close by to prevent having an extension cord across the yard for the whole summer. We continue to stain the fence, we are finally getting to the small "trailer fence" and to the back wall of the main fence. Some day we may even get the inside done, but I am in no hurry to get that done.
I plan to T off at the middle of the run to the shed, and snake another run of conduit to the front of our deck, so I can plug the grill in, instead of having to run an extension cord across the deck each time I want to use it.
Tire change complete so the side by side is now ready for Saturday. Installed the master cylinder on the four wheeler. Just a couple quick and easy things tonight.
I got all of the conduit buried, all electrics hooked up, and tested, and buttoned up.
We called Terry to ask if he had any thoughts on how to level our back yard for an above ground pool, and he said he would be right up. He pulled into the yard with his cute little tractor and front end loader, and skimmed the top off the ground, about 8 or so inches deep on one side and about 2 on the other. we still have a lot of dirt work to do, but now we wont be fighting the sod layer. That was a lot more in depth than I was expecting. of course I wasn't sure how we were going to do it to be certain. We need to order a bunch of sand now, or find a place to go get several truck loads.
No painting today with this wind. I have plenty of other things to do and will probably avoid too much outside stuff today because everything will blow away.
