Started tearing down the little atc70 three wheeler. Got the fender, seat, exhaust and gas tank off tonight. Probably pull the intake off tomorrow. A couple little easy things in the evenings. Got a new 90cc engine to go back in it.
I was looking into Hydrponics system-- it even used some goldfish to swim through it-- the gold fish poop helps to fertilize the plants-- the fish nibble on the plant roots and it is kinda ecobalanced as wel as a food source-- I guess you could even eat the goldfish if you were so inclined :-)
Since we're stuck at home we're kicking into "handyman" mode and knocking out house projects. We ended up replacing our exterior garage door last weekend since the old one had the frame and seal tore up by bored dogs. We picked one out that had windows so now I can actually take advantage of all that sunlight that comes in on the south side of the house to light up the whole back bay of the garage during the day. Took us a few hours overall since we had to chip away at some concrete and trim the siding up top to get it to fit. Still need to put the interior trim back on and paint the exterior casing, but it was a huge improvement! Even replaced the two patio lights in the backyard to add a little more appeal
Got the chain, carburetor and wiring unhooked on the little 3 wheeler. Engine is ready to come out. Just two bolts hold it in. Just need to clean it up and new engine will be ready to go in. Looking forward to working with new, clean parts.
Funny thing is that we were showing our neighbors and the ended up buying the same door last night. The husband blamed me and guilted me into helping him install it since I was such a bad influence on his wife
Had it done in three hours flat, was a tight fit so we had to do a lot of trimming here and there. Pretty much the same issues we ran into when we were working on our door.
I received the surround sound head unit. I thought I had ordered an Onkyo, but I ordered a Denon. Pretty much same difference. I now have all but one piece to complete the project, but.. I don't know if I will need it yet. Running cables through a finished basement may be the demise of me, but we shall see.

Is the missing piece the subwoofer? If so, be absolutely sure you don't short yourself in the bass department. We have a 10" powered subwoofer and it makes a night and day difference on the home theater "experience" and is required for the Dolby Atmos. I will say that the 10" does the job just fine, but I'm missing some really low frequencies that only a 12" can cover. Too bad the 12" units are twice as much as the 10" units, booooo! lol
What's your plan for running cable through your finished walls? I've never tried so I don't have a clue how a guy would do it but I know professional install shops do it all the time.
Its actually just the audio optical cord that I am missing. I am going to require a 15 foot one if it is needed. I found one for less than 50 bucks.
We have purchased the Bose Accoustimass 10 system. Its a 5.1 surround system. It includes two 8 inch subs, but they are ported. I am anxious to hear the system once its put together.
I have some fiberglass rods that screw into each other, that I can use to pull wires through the walls, luckily the finished wall in the basement was built about an inch away from the concrete, so running the front speakers will be somewhat easy. (Hopefully) Running the rear speaker wires may get tricky, but I think I have somewhat of a plan. It will be tricky, because I plan to run the wires through the ceiling. I have a stairway in the way of where I think it would be best, but I will get it done one way or another.

Gotcha, optical cords are something I've never worked with either. I've seen them on some A\V equipment here and there but always cheaped out and went RCA.
