That 72 Delta 88 is just like tho one my parents had when I was a kid (minus the drop top). We used it to pull our TT and had a 12' boat on the top. We sure have come a long way, that was pretty common usage back then, now with our mighty X's, it is all a lot easier, safer too.
went out to spring brook and epping, ND today. got some neat pics..also some more pics of the flooding. they just opend a road up that was closed and the parking lot off to the side is still half flooded.
LOL its not for everyone thats for sure! my great uncle had it done in the late 70s if that explains any of it.
some updated pics!
after driving the taurus down some nasty muddy roads i took her down to the truck wash and cleaned her all up. shined up pretty good for a brand new car haha
then we got the Lincoln going. man what a boat to drive, so much fun!
compare sizes lol
the truck traffic, and traffic in general is TERRIBLE in the northwest section of north dakota. this oil boom has brought in so many people and theres nowhere for them to live and the roads are not made for the amount of traffic they are getting.
every truck down here has a brush gaurd or huge *** bumper. saw this excursion with both nice front/rear bumpers
some more of the high waters around williston
this is in trenton, north dakota
with the huge amount of people trailer parks and man camps have poped up all over!!
then i took the olds delta 88 on a 200 mile drive around williston and to fairview, MT
i have no idea where i was here....lol
crossing the boarder again
then last night we went out to the races, i have a cousin that has a car and we like to watch how he does...had a nasty wreck in somebody elses car last night.
lol true, but i meant comparing the new taurus to the new Camry and Chevy sedans i've been in/driven. same goes for all the new fords though they have really stepped up the interiors and quality and sound deadening.
now i'm not going to complain about my '02 excursion...shes nice enough and once i do the door seal mod i feel it'll be quite enough lol
