few pics today, taken from alittle different view i was following my own truck. found out i have a 3rd brake light bulb out darn it...must say she looks mean going down the road
pulled up behind 2 harley f-350s thought it was a odd sight.
added a led line of fire type light bar. not the brand i wanted but it was new and a friend gave it to me so what the heck right?
What brand and how much would it normally cost. I want to add one but most reviews are saying they don't last very long. What did you think of the quality of this one?
i had actually bought one of these years ago. its a "bully" brand which i think is sold at Walmart and o'rileys. if i remember they go for $50-60. it will prolly last untill i buy the spendy one i want lol.
personally i wanted a more expensive unit, one that has white LEDs for reverse..ect but was not going to shell out $100 or more for one now.
i have a plasmaglow one on my explorer thats been there for 4 years still works perfect.
thanks i love the plate too! gets pruis drivers all pissy :-p

putting new pads on the truck today, back went great! front each side the top caliper slide pin's are frozen! i'm letting them sit with some lube to try and free them up...they are really stuck though. ugh
after letting them soak for a day and getting nowhere. plus last night i got the wrong parts. i'm gonna go get new brackets/pins tomorrow. i just put a full tank in the excursion i wanna use it damnit!
still trying to figure out wtf i'm going to do about the front brakes. may end up having to get new calipers. not what i really wanted but **** happens so they say right? lol
going through my photobucket i found the pics i took when i went to look at it on the used car lot.
time for a trip down memory lane...come with me if you wish, back to a simpler time...lol
10-20-2010, with 102k miles on her all stock and dirty! after loosing my black excursion in a head on crash i was so happy to find this gem even if she was dirty. i enjoy looking back on the stock pics.
looks like shes going to be stuck on jackstands for awhile. ordered the caliper brackets and slide/guide pins off rock auto. god knows how long they will take to get here. worst part is she has a full tank of gas! lol
