Went to 4.07 yesterday, where's it gonna stop? I live in a rural area and in the last 7 days the price has increased 3 times. I would be supprised if the local station gets one load every week. He has offroad .10 gal cheaper than on road. What happened to the 42 cents per gallon road tax that is not being payed? The speculators arent gonna be happy until the entire working class is in the poor house. We are the only ones really affected by this. The middle class has enough of a cushion in their pay that they can absorb these extra cost. Are the big 3 gonna be able to survive this economic disaster? How about the housing market? Who's next, the banking industry? That should be fun. Looks like I need to plant an extra big garden and stock up on ammo to protect what I have.
3.63 - 3.73 here and around KC. And I would suspect that if it continues to climb...I'll be seeing more trucks on the road with "for sale" signs in my travels....That's when I bought mine. The PO and pulling horse's around, forced then to go to a gasser...also wondering when they will resume on the Ethonal plant they started near Chillicothe, but stopped at 40% complete when fuel dropped.
At the truck stop this morning - I saw $4.21. Cannot believe it. I thankful I am driving the POS cavalear until I get the new fuel bowl and regulator (Friday) - but for dang sure I do not want to pay that. To top it off, there is no where around that I know of that has bio. Thinking about growing soy beans and getting a press and say the heck with them folks up in Washington who just take the $ from big oil.
