How super-saturated is that soil getting on your job site, Steve?
Did you go with tarps, or would it have even made a difference?
Went by there to have a look this morning and it's pretty saturated...I had built up a couple of berms to divert flow from the lot away from the footings and they seem to be holding pretty well. One footing wall caved where the excavation for the new waste line crossed it, but that's all so far. Just a lot of water, but that can be pumped out...if the rain ever stops.
No tarps. Never had much luck with them, and there's nothing to tie them to anyway.
Hey Steve & the rest of the klan,
A little early but, Merry Christmas to the bunch of ya. Have a safe & happy holiday.
Tomorrow we're planning a roadtrip North, out of this rain, to grandma's house.
Packing up the Superduty with Wife, couple of Kids, 3 fleabags, and heading to Central Oregon for the holidays. I'll take snow over this rain anyday.
I thought I would give you some comfort and job. Comfort knowing you don't have to deal with this crap and joy knowing that us poor buggers in the midwest do.
So, since they put that stupid message under our username, I figured I would go ahead and build a garage just to get rid of it. Did it twice, clicked Save Changes, and nothing shows up.
