trying to make it a shorter story, the situation developed over several days. And my son being a supervisor was called in several days for the investigation. They have a building in one part of the base that houses the fire team vehicle, not fire fighters type of fire team, someone supposedly ran the gun into the roll up door causing it to jam. No one wanted to admit to it so their commander was threatening to give all the flights an article 15, destruction of government property. after about 3 days he called everyone in again and apologized after finding out the incident happened and was reported in April, operations never fixed the door and in the cold in finally jammed. But my son eneded up losing all his days off because the called him in all the time.
Any of you guys going to be brave and go to the parade?
Went for the first time about three years ago. Had premium seats in the Kaiser Medical stands. They are a major sponsor of the parade, and are the first ones after the turn onto Colorado. Private bus to and from their Pasadena offices' parking lot to the stands, so had no traffic at all to fight.
I'll never see it in quite that style again, so doubt I'll ever attend in person again.
Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards will have my ear again this year, and it will probably be the second re-run by the time I finally see it.
Morning Steve. That sucks. I think you guys have had enough. Wish I could be down in SD tonight, Nebraska is playing Washington (again) in the holiday bowl.
Not as many as usual. A lot of people skipped the bowl this year, since we just played Washington (and killed them) in September, and we'll be playing them again next Sept.. We should have played Iowa in the Insight bowl. But, the Big 12 put the muscle to that bowl, since they didn't want it to be an infomercial for the Big 10. So, NU gets stuck playing WU again. Usually, it's impossible to get a ticket here for the bowl, but this year, there about 3,500 tickets going unsold. Going to cost the university a pretty penny.
