FTE member 77_f250_custom stumbled across this 1978 Ford F-100 Ranger that had lived its life in New Mexico before being brought up into his home state of South Dakota two years ago, where it was simply left to sit and rot. He paid $1000 for the rig and then had it delivered to his apartment.

There are many reasons why an old Ford may need to be rebuilt. A lot of times it’s because someone has left the rig sitting for far too long. Other times it is because there was a very unfortunate wreck and the owner can’t handle fixing such serious damages.

This rig is an Arizona beauty. With only a little more than one hundred thousand miles, this 1988 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat makes for a wonderful project with lots of potential.

All Ford truck enthusiasts have a specific truck they favor the most. For some, nothing beats the original. They’ll do whatever it takes to get their hands on a Ford truck from the forties or fifties. For others, the newest model is always the best.

Completing a build is sometimes relatively uncomplicated and easy. Well, for Ford truck enthusiast Bootlegger’s Deluxe things just haven’t seem to go that way with his 1989 F-150 build.

Ford truck enthusiast CharlaineC has taken on a wonderful project. She picked up a 1969 F-250 — named “Pearl” — that, though it needs a lot of help to get it to its former glory, both runs and drives. The rig has over three hundred thousand miles on it, which is to be expected for a truck that is over forty years old.

Walston has been a member of FTE since 2004 and is the proud owner of “The 60.” The 60 is the name he gave to the 1960 Ford F-100 that happily occupies his garage. The rig looks amazing on the outside, but it arguably looks even better under the hood. Walston and his son did a frame off rebuild of the classic Ford, and it doesn’t appear they could have done any better.
