Just a few years back, you probably couldn’t convince anybody that Ford trucks from the ’70s would ever be a collectors item. Much less draw big bucks on the market! The same can be said of pretty much every vehicle from the past few decades. We view our trucks as trucks, not something that we can bank on down a distant future.

Right now, ’80s and ’90s Ford trucks aren’t exactly hot items on the market. The only time you’re looking at spending modest money on one is if you find a low-mileage example like this 1990 F-150 that was on auction last month. It has a mere 62,372 original miles on the odometer!

Ford trucks from the ’90s may not be as beloved as their ’70s counterparts. But that doesn’t mean they won’t be in the future. That could make a nicely optioned, lightly used example like this one a hot item down the road. With original paint and a full history of service, you could have an appreciating asset on your hands.
