This 1956 Ford F-350 “Express Box” Needs You!

Even though truck technology has changed immensely over the last few decades, some things have remained the same. One such thing is the fact that many heavy duty trucks are still sold as chassis cabs, or with flat beds. This was just as true in 1956.

That makes this particular 1956 Ford F-350 equipped with a 9-foot Express Box even more special. There simply weren’t many of them made back in the day, and even less of them featured the shorter bed. On top of that, you rarely see them come up for sale, let alone in mostly-original and unrestored condition!

This beautiful ’56 is said to be sporting its original paint, and the truck is in overall solid condition considering its age, but has a few dings, a damaged lower valance, and is missing the front bumper.  The original Ford 272 V8 is stuck, and a few other issues will need some work to get them up and running.

Overall, this is a solid 1-ton that needs somebody to come along and save it, get it running, fix the little things that don’t work, and drive it as is. Otherwise, you can go the full resto-route, and create a total gem. Either way, this Express Box is a cool and nearly obsolete piece of Ford truck history that deserves some attention.
