7.3 Gasser: $63 Air Filter?!!
$62.91 What the F (ord) is so special about the paper airfilter for the 7.3? LC3Z-9601-A fits a ton of applications- not like its a low volume item. Discounter price $40 but dang thats still pricey for a paper filter.

goggle the part number ,good chance you will find most ford dealers show the MSRP around $40.00, take that part number on amazon where i found both a engine air and cabin set for $22.00

Okay, back to normal. What? You bought a Thing. Pay the Price or do something Different. No one is forcing you to do anything. Pay the FORD price, out a piece of cheesecloth in there or put the big bucks out for MPL.
I don't get it. Buy a Premium Product and you expect Budget components? Why do you think it cost you $70-100k in the first place? I can tell you for sure that it didn't cost the $30k and you paid the upcharge. If you think Ford is overcharging, buy some of their stock and get in on the bottom.

That's the root of the problem, you might say. I thought I bought a Premium Product, but I'm finding it's loaded with Budget Components.
