I like having time off during the week when everyone else is working. That way I dont get bothered by a-holes when Im trying to work in the shop. If you figure it out I only work 7 days every 2 weeks or 26 weeks a year.
Ill be working 4 10 hour days Tuesday - Friday sometimes a Saturday but then itll be Wednesday - Saturday or a day of Comp time if i go Tuesday - Saturday
my one brother in law just started working at james hardie here. they run a rotating swing shift like you have kris. that might be the next place i hit up when i go back to work. they are about the only factory around here that doesn't seem like they took a big hit in production with the ****ty economy. doesn't make sense to me though because they make composite siding and fake deck materials, doesn't seem like that stuff would be in demand nowadays
jeez dave, those dots make me think you want me to be your neighbor. you are a boss or something at a tire warehouse right? get me and the wife setup with jobs and you got a new drinking buddy
it'd be cool, but the wife would never leave her job and her family.
p.s. unless they are industrial michelin tires i'd be fine. remember, i specialize in manual labor, and unloading trucks is one of my "majors". 80 lbs a piece or less and i'm good for 10 hours a day. strong back weak mind
