It's not really "bending the rules", more like a liberal interpretation and they people doing the tech inspections are buying into

Ok what about the rear shocks. If I am going to put ladder bars in my shocks are going to have to be relocated. What would be the best setup.

With those big springs you have to have at least 3 shocks per corner, and they must be chrome, and they have to be mounted in a criss cross type fashion, that way it absorbs bumps in every direction.

hey, at the very least, get a drop pitman arm. or you could check the tech section and get an idea of how to do crossover steering.
just sayin'.

Dan, that is pretty much crossover. Can't get more crosover than that without a highsteer arm.

that's factory dave, i used to have a chart that named the ways of setting it up, and yes the late model ford setup is damn near there, but it has a different name. unless i missed something, my f350 had the same with a drop arm.

The way I see it, you have your Chevy style, front to back above the axle. And you have different variations of the crossover or Ford style. It crosses over from one side to the other, so its crossover. There's just different variations of it.
